Pharmacosycea

 A monoecious subgenus, mostly small trees. Not generally hemi'ephiphitic parasites. Wood varies from mature hollow with solid young wood and a spongey texture in habrophylla, to a more strangler fig wood in austrocaledonica and webbiana. The species vary in roles from reclaim zones at the edge of forests to dense jungles.
